Jeremy was ordained as a deacon in the OPC in February 2025. He has a heart for serving others, especially those in need, and seeks to do so with humility and compassion.
He previously served on Cedar’s Outreach Committee, where he developed a strong appreciation for the church’s commitment to evangelism locally and abroad. He also serves as a leader on Cedar’s Security Team. Jeremy has a special connection to Harmony Communities, a partner ministry of Cedar, and is eager to support its work whenever possible.
Jeremy grew up in Jenison as the third of four children. He enjoys investing in the lives of his seven nieces and nephews, as well as his great-niece and great-nephew.
He graduated from Grand Valley State University in 2001 with a Bachelor of Business Administration and works at a local transport company in downtown Grand Rapids.
In his free time, Jeremy enjoys watching sports, spending time at his cottage up north, and riding his motorcycle.
